Noise from building work, venues and events

Temporary works, ongoing business activity and neighbourhood noise are governed by different rules. Time, duration, affected premises and any special permit determine the assessment.

What to check in your case

We identify the provision and any specific order issued. Where measurements are relevant, we review the report, receptor location, reference period and other noise sources. Some noise offences can be established without acoustic measurements.
