Does a parking fine affect licence points? A minor offence does not deduct points. Stopping or parking on a marked crossing is a serious offence and can cost two points when the decision becomes final. Reconstruct the vehicle position and distance from the crossing. Minor parking cases may fall to municipal authorities. Use the authority identified in the notice.
