Motorhome parking and overnight fines

Parking, staying overnight with occupants and occupying space beyond the vehicle's footprint are distinct. In protected areas, Natura 2000 sites and designated coastal zones, the precise site's authorisation matters.

What to check in your case

Article 50-A defines overnight occupancy between 10 pm and 7 am. Elsewhere, the default 48-hour rule per municipality requires checking vehicle approval, whether municipal rules apply and whether the site is expressly authorised.
