Paying an ACT fine in instalments

After a finding of liability, Article 27 of Law 107/2009 exceptionally allows instalments if the defendant demonstrates inability to pay immediately. The administrative authority must authorise the arrangement.

What to check in your case

We check when the decision becomes final, what is owed and cash flow. The last payment may not fall later than one year after the decision becomes final. Missing an instalment makes the remaining amounts immediately due.
